According to a recent report, Abarth is developing a high-performance Fiat Panda for 2013.Expected to cost £15,000 (€17,500), the model is slated to feature an aggressive body kit, a sport-tuned suspension, upgraded brakes and 16-inch alloy wheels.Inside, the cabin will likely have sports seats, a short-throw shifter and a new steering wheel.Power will reportedly come from a turbocharged 875cc TwinAir engine that develops at least 110 hp (82 kW / 112 PS). This should enable the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 177 km/h (110 mph). These figures aren't terribly impressive, but the model is rumored to return 60 mpg UK (4.7 L/100km / 50 mpg US).
